General Information Regarding the Personal Data Protection Law;

Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (hereinafter referred to as the PDPL) was adopted on 24 March 2016 and published in the Official Gazette No. 29677 dated 7 April 2016. Part of the PDPL entered into force on the date of publication, while another part came into effect on 7 October 2016.

Information in the Capacity of Data Controller;

In accordance with Law No. 6698 (the PDPL) and in our capacity as Data Controller, your personal data may, within the framework explained on this page, be recorded, stored, updated, disclosed to / transferred to third parties where permitted by legislation, classified, and processed in the manners set out in the PDPL.

How Your Personal Data May Be Processed;

In accordance with Law No. 6698 (the PDPL), the personal data you share with our Company may be processed by us, in whole or in part, automatically, or by non-automatic means provided that they form part of a data recording system, by being obtained, recorded, stored, modified, reorganized — in short, as subject to any kind of processing carried out on the data. Within the scope of the PDPL, any kind of operation performed on data is deemed to be the "processing of personal data".

The Purposes and Legal Grounds for Processing Your Personal Data;

The personal data you share is processed,

• To fulfil the requirements of the services we provide to our customers in a manner consistent with the requirements of the contract and technology, and to improve the products and services we offer;
• To identify the information of the transaction owner within the scope of Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, and the relevant regulations prepared on the basis of these provisions;
• To prepare all records and documents that will serve as the basis for processing in the mandatory payment systems, electronic contracts, or paper format in the field of Banking and Electronic Payment; and to comply with the information retention, reporting, and notification obligations stipulated by legislation and other authorities;
• To be able to provide information to public prosecutors' offices, courts, and the relevant public officials, upon request and as required by legislation, in matters relating to public safety and in legal disputes;

for these purposes.

THE WAY YOUR PERSONAL DATA IS COLLECTED

Your personal data,

• Through the forms on our Company's website and mobile applications, in the form of information such as name, surname, Turkish ID number, address, telephone, e-mail; the preferences on pages accessed by logging in with a username and password, IP records, cookie data, data containing browsing duration and details, and location information;
• Verbally, in writing, or electronically through our sales and marketing teams, branches, suppliers, other sales channels, paper forms, business cards, the call center, and our digital marketing channels;
• Face-to-face or remotely from persons who share personal data by means such as business cards, curriculum vitae (CV), proposals, etc., for purposes such as establishing a commercial relationship, applying for a job, or submitting an offer;
• From micro-sites used for websites, blogs, contests, surveys, campaigns, etc., from publicly shared profiles on social media, from newsletter reading/clicking activities, and from publicly available databases;

may be collected and processed.

Your Personal Data Obtained Before the PDPL Entered Into Force;

Your personal data lawfully obtained before 7 April 2016, the effective date of the PDPL, through membership, communication permissions, the purchase of products/services, and other methods, also continues to be processed within the scope of this policy.

Transfer of Your Personal Data Abroad;

Your personal data, collected to be processed in Turkey or processed and retained outside Turkey, may, provided that it complies with the PDPL and in line with the purposes of the contract, be transferred to countries and service providers deemed by the Personal Data Protection Board to have adequate protection.

Keeping Personal Data Current and Accurate;

Pursuant to Article 4 of the PDPL, our Company has an obligation to keep your personal data accurate and up to date. For this reason, our customers are required to share accurate and current information or to update it through the website/mobile application.

The Rights of the Personal Data Subject Pursuant to Law No. 6698 (the PDPL);

The Personal Data Subject, by applying to our Company, has the following rights concerning themselves;

• To learn whether personal data is being processed,
• To request information if personal data has been processed,
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether the data is used in accordance with that purpose,
• To know the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
• To request the correction of data if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly,
• To request its deletion/destruction within the framework of Article 7 of the PDPL,
• To request that these operations be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
• To object to a result that arises to one's detriment due to the analysis of data exclusively through automated systems,
• To request the remedy of damages in the event of suffering loss,

Data Controller Information

Vetraco Group is the Data Controller within the scope of the PDPL. The Data Controller Representative will be announced in the Data Controllers' Registry and in this document once the legal infrastructure is established.
